R&B singer Tonio Hall has been shot and killed in Norton Shores, Michigan. He was 27. Police identified the victim as Antonio Ken-Tarrius Hall of Texas, confirming he was found with five gunshot wounds at a residence on the 3200 block of Ingersoll Avenue just before 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
The Tonio Hall shooting investigation moved quickly. Norton Shores police arrested a 26-year-old Muskegon man that same night. He remains in custody awaiting formal charges as the Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office reviews the case. A weapon was recovered at the scene, and authorities have stated there is no ongoing threat to the community.
Hall, born and raised in Muskegon before building his music career in Dallas, was best known for his 2022 breakout single “OMW,” released through SEVEN14 Entertainment and Def Jam Recordings. He also released the project Over My Feelings in 2021 and the single “Love Interrupted” in October 2025. The shooting came days after Hall’s grandmother also passed away, and a GoFundMe has been established to help the family with funeral costs and transporting his remains.
