The Osundairo brothers, infamous for their role in the staged hate crime involving Empire actor Jussie Smollett, have spoken out, criticizing the actor’s refusal to admit guilt. In an interview with Fox News, Abimbola “Bola” and Olabinjo “Ola” Osundairo shared their disbelief over Smollett’s continued denial of responsibility despite his conviction.

“We were taken aback, not because of the Supreme Court’s decision, but because Jussie never admitted guilt,” Bola said, referencing the actor’s ongoing legal battles.

The brothers also slammed the initial “sweetheart deal” granted to Smollett by Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx, calling it an example of privilege and inequality in the justice system. “It shows there are two different citizens in America—one with power and one without,” Bola added.

Convicted on five counts of felony disorderly conduct for filing false police reports, Smollett has maintained his innocence, but the Osundairo brothers claim the public isn’t buying it. “Not a single soul believes him,” Ola stated. “In my immediate circle, nobody believes his version of events.”

The staged attack, originally designed to elevate Smollett’s public profile, backfired spectacularly, leaving the actor’s reputation in tatters and reigniting debates about privilege and accountability in the legal system.
