‘Big Brother’ Winner Taylor Hale Strips Down For Playboy After Nude Photos Circulated Online

Taylor Hale is taking back control. The “Big Brother” season 24 winner, who made history as the first Black woman to win the civilian version of the CBS reality competition, is now making waves as Playboy’s Miss March 2026. The sizzling spread arrives after years of navigating unauthorized images of her body circulating online, this time, entirely on her own terms.

The Detroit native, 31, appears in the magazine’s spring issue in a series of stunning photographs captured by Kanya Iwana. The images show Hale confidently baring it all, covering her bare breasts in one shot while showcasing her curves in another. It’s a far cry from the circumstances that inspired the shoot.

For Hale, this Playboy feature represents something deeper than a sexy photoshoot. In a personal essay accompanying the spread, she opened up about the violation of having intimate moments from the “Big Brother” house shared without her consent.

“Inside the Big Brother house, I understood that I was being watched. It was explicit and contractual. But even there, the psychological boundaries of consent were more fraught than they appeared,” Hale wrote.

“There are corners of the internet where fragments of my naked body exist. They were clipped from live feeds by viewers who were not interested in the story I was living, but in the access this surveillance provided them. They shared images of my body in vulnerable moments… they commented on my form, they got off on having ‘caught’ me off guard”.

This time, everything is different. Hale hand-selected photographer Kanya Iwana, describing her as “a woman who understands what I mean when I say I want these images to be something that allows me ownership over my body.” She was “an active participant” in the shoot, she told Playboy—”a collaborator”.

“I assumed my power by becoming a co-creator,” Hale explained. “It’s an opportunity for reclamation—for active consent in my most vulnerable form”.

The former Miss Michigan USA even carefully selected the words accompanying the images, ensuring her voice frames the narrative rather than leaving it to others.

Hale’s journey to this moment has been anything but conventional. The personal stylist first gained attention as Miss Michigan USA in 2021 before entering the “Big Brother” house the following year. Her time on the show was marked by both struggle and triumph, she faced bullying and ostracization from fellow houseguests early on but persevered to become one of the game’s power players.

Her historic win in September 2022 saw her take home the $750,000 grand prize in an 8-1 jury vote, making her the first Black woman to win a civilian season of “Big Brother.” She also became the first winner in the show’s history to simultaneously claim the America’s Favorite Houseguest award, earning an additional $50,000.

Since her “Big Brother” victory, Hale has expanded her footprint in entertainment. She has competed on “The Amazing Race” and served as a red carpet host for CBS. Her growing platform has allowed her to speak openly about representation, resilience, and the unique challenges faced by Black women in the public eye.

In a 2022 interview with Yahoo, Hale reflected on her historic win: “I know that as a Black woman, no matter what I do, no matter what I accomplish, there are going to be a subset of people that say, ‘It was handed it to her because she’s Black.’ As much as I know that’s not the truth and the majority of the viewers know that’s not the truth, it does help to also say, ‘No, I also won the game, and I won the hearts of America'”.

The Playboy feature represents a full-circle moment for Hale, a chance to transform violation into empowerment. By choosing to pose on her own terms, she’s sending a message that extends far beyond the pages of a magazine.

As she told Playboy: “I carefully selected the words you read, to explain why this moment feels so special”.

The spring issue of Playboy hits stands in April, featuring Hale as Miss March, a title she now holds not because someone captured her without permission, but because she walked into that studio, chose her photographer, and decided it was time to take back what was always hers.
