Bebe Rexha has done it again. Her latest single, “Dirty Blonde,” just climbed to the top of the Apple Music Dance Chart. The track unseated every other dance release in the country, marking Rexha’s first #1 on that specific chart.
The Apple Music Dance Chart ranks songs based on streaming volume and playlist additions. “Dirty Blonde” entered the chart three weeks ago and gained momentum rapidly. By the second week, it had already cracked the top five. Now, it sits at #1. Industry trackers note that the song’s streaming numbers spiked after Rexha teased the music video on social media.
Unlike some of Rexha’s previous pop-cross-over hits, “Dirty Blonde” leans fully into club-ready production. Heavy bass, a four-on-the-floor kick drum, and a hook that repeats like a mantra. Fans immediately compared it to her work with David Guetta but noted this feels darker, more confident. Rexha co-wrote the track with two longtime collaborators, though she has said in recent interviews that the lyrics came from a personal late-night writing session.
While the #1 on the Apple Music Dance Chart is the headline, “Dirty Blonde” is also climbing the overall pop and streaming charts. It has entered the top 20 on Apple Music’s All-Genre chart and is gaining traction on Spotify’s global dance playlists. Radio adds are expected next week.
Rexha has not announced a full album tied to “Dirty Blonde,” but sources close to the singer say more dance singles are already in production. She is scheduled to perform at several summer festivals, where “Dirty Blonde” is expected to become a set-piece moment. If the song holds the #1 spot for a second week, it will be her longest-running dance chart topper ever.
