Hollywood powerhouse Tom Hardy has officially traded movie sets for the mic, dropping a collaborative rap album titled Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer. Performing under his musical alter ego, Frankie Pulitzer (also styled as Face Puller), the 48-year-old actor joined forces with hip-hop supergroup Czarface—comprising Wu-Tang Clan’s Inspectah Deck and underground duo 7L & Esoteric.
Far from a casual celebrity gimmick, the 15-track project boasts guest appearances from legendary MCs including Busta Rhymes, Wu-Tang Clan’s Method Man, and El-P.
Rap Roots: While the release caught casual film fans off guard, Hardy has a long history in hip-hop, having secured a record deal as a teenager in the 1990s and recorded unreleased tapes under the handle Tommy No. 1.
