Jennifer Lopez had fans laughing — and cheering — during a recent stop on her European Up All Night tour when she gave a hilariously candid response to a fan’s bold proposal.
During her concert in Bilbao, Spain, on Tuesday, July 15, the 55-year-old superstar spotted a sign in the crowd that read, “J Lo, marry me?” Her response? Lighthearted but honest:
“I think I’m done with that. Yeah, I tried that a few times,” Lopez joked, drawing loud applause from the crowd as she turned and strutted away in a sparkling silver bodysuit.
A History of Saying ‘I Do’
J.Lo’s comment wasn’t just a throwaway moment — it touched on her very public and well-documented history with love and marriage. The singer and actress has been married four times, most recently to actor Ben Affleck, with whom she finalized her divorce earlier this year.
- Her first marriage was to Ojani Noa in 1997, which ended after just a year.
- She then married Cris Judd, a former backup dancer, in 2001. That relationship also lasted about two years.
- Her longest marriage was to Marc Anthony, whom she wed in 2004. The two were together for a decade and share 17-year-old twins, Emme and Max.
- Lopez and Affleck famously rekindled their early-2000s romance in 2021, finally tying the knot in 2022. However, the marriage came to an end by the close of 2024, and their divorce was finalized in January 2025.
From Romance to Solo Glow
Lopez’s Up All Night tour, which runs through August 12 with a final show in Sardinia, Italy, seems to be a celebration of independence, artistry, and connection with fans — not romance. Despite her past heartbreaks, she’s glowing on stage and keeping things light.
Her 2024 album, This Is Me…Now, was originally dedicated to Affleck, but in light of their split, it now reads like a bittersweet time capsule of love lost. For now, though, Lopez is focused on her career and clearly enjoying life on her own terms.
As for future weddings?
Looks like J.Lo’s walking down the stage, not the aisle.
