Whitney Rose has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Justin Rose, after nearly 17 years of marriage. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star submitted the paperwork on Tuesday, October 6, in Utah’s Third District Court, Salt Lake Department, according to court records. She also filed a proposed parenting plan for the couple’s two children, Bobbie, 16, and Brooks, 13.
The Whitney Rose divorce filing comes months after the couple’s separation was first reported in July. Whitney confirmed to Us Weekly that she and Justin had actually separated “at the end of May.” She said their children have been “super supportive” of their new normal. The pair have been “nesting”, sharing two places, an apartment and their primary home, and rotating between them so the kids can stay put. “Justin and I work together. We co-parent. We do everything together,” Whitney explained.
Whitney first hinted at cracks in the marriage during the RHOSLC Season 6 reunion in January, getting emotional as she said she was “going through something really hard.” She later told Us Weekly that Season 7 would show the “downfall” of their relationship in real time. The split followed years of financial strain and the loss of their shared business, Wild Rose Beauty. Justin was also fired from his role at LifeVantage Corporation in 2022, leaving him out of work for a year. The divorce filing marks a new chapter after 16 years of marriage.
