The year of Zendaya just got bigger. The Emmy-winning actress and fashion icon graces her first-ever Vogue Brasil cover for the May 2026 issue, marking a milestone both for the magazine’s 51st anniversary and the star’s busiest professional year yet.
The Zendaya Vogue Brasil feature includes a full editorial spread photographed by Nicole Heiniger, with styling by her longtime creative partner Law Roach. The May 2026 cover image shows the actress in a show-stopping tassel micro dress, a fitted silhouette covered in textured fringe in deep green, icy blue, and soft pink tones that create a mesmerizing illusion of movement .
Inside the issue, Zendaya opens up about what she calls “one of the most intense years of my life” . She has five projects debuting in 2026, including Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, Spider-Man: A New Day, and Dune: Part 3 in December.
The actress also reveals how partnering with Law Roach transformed her relationship with fashion. “Very early on, I understood that fashion would be an ally in building my career,” she told the magazine. “All this work helped me create an identity and gave me a lot of confidence”.
Editor-in-chief Maria Laura Neves wrote in her May editor’s letter that Zendaya had been a “longtime desire” for the team . During the shoot’s creative discussion about a black-and-white versus color image, Roach famously joked to the art director, “We don’t need to ask her opinion. Go with black and white. I’m communicating with her telepathically” .
The cover arrives as Vogue Brasil celebrates 51 years. The May 2026 issue is available on the Globo Mais app and arrives at newsstands nationwide on May 14 .
