Zendaya and Tom Holland are looking back at the moment it all began, before they became one of Hollywood’s most beloved couples. In a recent interview, the pair opened up about their first impressions during the Spider-Man: Homecoming auditions in 2016.
Zendaya recalled being immediately struck by the British actor. “I remember meeting him, and I was like, ‘Oh, he’s very charming,'” she said. Meanwhile, Tom admitted he was “super excited” to get to know Zendaya after she was cast as MJ. He also praised her audition, saying she “absolutely smashed it”.
Nearly a decade later, the couple, who secretly married earlier this year, have gone from co-stars to a married couple. Their bond began on set and grew quietly before they went public in 2021. They’re now in England celebrating their wedding with friends and family.
