The Terrifier franchise is about to get a serious dose of muscle and mayhem—WWE powerhouse Rhea Ripley is on her way to the big screen, and she’s ready to be Art the Clown’s next victim.
Director Damien Leone, mastermind behind the cult-favorite slasher saga, has revealed he’s creating a role specifically for Ripley in the upcoming and final installment, Terrifier 4. The announcement comes after Rhea publicly declared her obsession with the blood-soaked franchise and begged for a part—even if it means a gruesome death.
“Kill Me, I Don’t Care!”
In a candid chat with YouTuber Chris Van Vliet, the 28-year-old WWE star didn’t hold back about her dream of joining the horror universe.
“I want to be in Terrifier 4 so badly. It’s the last one… Kill me. Kill me, I don’t care.”
Damien Leone saw her passionate plea and quickly responded with a cryptic yet promising post on X (formerly Twitter):
“The wheels are turning @RheaRipley_WWE”
That’s all the confirmation fans needed.
The Ultimate Crossover
While this marks Rhea’s horror film debut, she wouldn’t be the first wrestler to step into Terrifier’s gory playground. AEW legend Chris Jericho had a brief but bloody role as a nurse in Terrifier 3, and even credited himself as one of the early voices championing the franchise.
Jericho once told JoBlo:
“I was going on Talk is Jericho telling everybody about this movie… Then Damien asked me if I wanted to be in part two. I was like, of course!”
Now, it’s Rhea’s turn to step into the madness.
A Super-Fan Meets Her Idol
Rhea also confessed how eager she is to finally meet David Howard Thornton, the man behind the chilling smile of Art the Clown.
“I’ve been trying to get him to come watch WWE… But our schedules don’t line up. One day I’ll meet him, and I hope I’m not too annoying. I really hope my fans haven’t made my name stale to him!”
She might get that meeting sooner than she thinks—on set, covered in fake blood.
What to Expect in Terrifier 4
The final chapter promises an epic showdown between Art the Clown and returning heroine Lauren LaVera, who reprises her role as Sienna Shaw. With Rhea Ripley now possibly joining the cast, fans can expect a high-impact performance and, knowing Leone, a truly unforgettable death scene.
Whether she’s swinging punches or screaming for her life, Rhea Ripley is ready to make horror history.
