Wednesday Season 3 will reportedly be the final season of the Netflix series. The speculation began after Jenny Ayumi Umbhau, Jenna Ortega’s longtime stunt double, shared an Instagram post following the completion of filming, describing it as the “end of an era” for a five-year chapter.
Ayumi wrote, “End of an era.. A 5-year chapter finally comes to a close” before sharing a throwback photo from the show’s original production in Romania. The first post was later deleted, which only fueled speculation that she had shared information not yet meant to be public. Netflix has not officially announced that Season 3 will be the show’s final season, so Ayumi’s comments should not be treated as confirmation of a planned ending.
The third season wrapped production on September 30, 2026, with filming taking place in Paris and Dublin. Eva Green joins the cast as Ophelia Frump, Morticia’s sister and Wednesday’s aunt, alongside returning stars Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, and Winona Ryder. The season is expected to premiere on Netflix in 2027.
