Despite a shocking 3-0 defeat at the hands of Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg, Kylian Mbappe isn’t throwing in the towel just yet. The French superstar, now donning the #09 jersey for Real Madrid, urged fans and teammates to “believe until the end” as Los Blancos prepare for the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu next Wednesday.
Goals from Declan Rice (2) and Mikel left Carlo Ancelotti’s side stunned at the Emirates Stadium, but Mbappe, though quiet during the game, is confident the tie isn’t over.
“The comeback is possible, of course. We have to believe until the end,” Mbappe told Fabrizio Romano.
Before the rematch, Madrid will shift focus to LaLiga action against Alaves on Sunday, as they aim to rebuild confidence ahead of what could be a historic turnaround.
Can Madrid pull off another legendary Bernabeu comeback? The stage is set.
