Nigerian activist Martins Otse Vincent, better known as Verydarkman (VDM), has once again shown the power of compassion and reconciliation. After a viral online dispute, VDM fulfilled his promise to a market woman who initially rejected his generous ₦1.5 million offer and supported content creator Ashmusy.
The saga began when the woman publicly declined VDM’s offer and voiced her loyalty to Ashmusy. However, things took a turn when she accused Ashmusy of neglect and unkept promises in a viral video. Realizing her mistake, the market woman reached out to VDM, humbly apologizing for her actions.
In a heartwarming update, Verydarkman shared a live video on December 16, where he surprised the woman with ₦1 million, close to his original offer. He also donated ₦200,000 to a POS operator who helped mediate the situation. This gesture highlighted that true generosity often comes with forgiveness and second chances.
