San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Trent Williams is being sued by a Washington car dealer for allegedly not paying his Porsche lease. According to TMZ, Williams is facing a lawsuit from OpenRoad Auto Group.
OpenRoad claims Williams leased a 2018 Porsche 911 in August 2021, agreeing to 48 monthly payments with the lease expiring August 31, 2025. The company says he made only the first two payments totaling $10,617.26, and hasn’t paid a dime since. OpenRoad also alleges Williams authorized direct debit payments but closed the bank account shortly after signing the lease.
The car dealer claims it doesn’t know where the car is now, suggesting Williams may have sold it, and is suing for $244,199.28 in past-due payments plus additional fees. The lawsuit includes breach of contract, fraud, and other claims. Williams signed a 2-year, $50 million extension with the 49ers in April.
