Tiwa Savage is celebrating her son Jamil Balogun, affectionately known as JamJam, on his 11th birthday. The Afrobeats star shared a touching message to her “greatest blessing” and “best friend,” expressing that watching him grow is one of the greatest privileges of her life.
In her tribute, the singer drew a powerful parallel between her love for her son and her faith. She explained that the way she worries, celebrates, protects, and believes in her child gives her a glimpse of how much more God loves His children. “Every hug, every prayer, every sacrifice, every moment of unconditional love I feel for Jamil is just a tiny reflection of the love God has always had for us,” she wrote.
The singer, known as the “Queen of Afrobeats,” welcomed Jamil on July 22, 2015, during her marriage to talent manager Tunji “Tee Billz” Balogun. She has previously described the difficult 22-hour labor and a moment when his heart rate dropped, making her pray harder than ever. Jamil also shares his birthday with his father, Tee Billz.
