For the past three weeks, social news has been clogged with
stories of the five-month old marriage of Tiwa Savage and hubby, Tunji
Balogun, coming apart at the seams.
The estranged couple’s resolve to keep mum about the issue only fueled a
wildfire of speculation. The couple reportedly told close sources that
they would not comment on the rumors, instead choosing to allow their
body language do the speaking.
It will be remembered that on the 26th of September, on TeeBillz’
birthday, Tiwa Savage practically ‘forgot’ to wish him a happy birthday
until later in the day. This, of course, set tongues wagging.
They have also been rarely seen together during public functions since
the onset of the rumor. However, on Sunday, October 12, they were
spotted at a Sunday Service at House on the Rock in Lekki, Lagos state.
TeeBillz has also spoken to Encomium, where he said: ‘We are still very much in love and happily married.’ Last week, after Tiwa Savage dropped her new song ‘My Darling,’ he took
to Instagram and posted their wedding photo with a caption: ‘WCW (Woman
Crush Wednesday)’
Tiwa Savage, on her part, responded by commenting: ‘All Day Every day.’
Friends and relatives say the celebrity couple have had issues, but they
are not going to split easily as they are committed to making their
marriage work.
