The 47-year-old actress is opening up about her new boyfriend, Javon’e, revealing the sweet details of a relationship she says she manifested into existence. After recently making their romance Instagram official with a vacation photo dump, Mowry is letting fans in on what makes this connection so special.
Appearing on SiriusXM’s Today Show Radio, Mowry couldn’t stop smiling as she described her new partner. “So his name is Javon’e, and he is a teacher. He also has his master’s. He studied in France. He’s an artist. He’s an avid reader,” she shared. Beyond his resume, it’s their shared values that have truly captured her heart.
Mowry revealed one of their favorite weekly traditions is meditating together at a Buddhist temple every Wednesday. At night, he reads to her, including books on co-parenting. Both have children around the same ages, which helps them relate to each other’s parenting journeys.
However, what stands out most is Javon’e’s emotional intelligence. “Some of the things that he just says, like, is, ‘How can I support you?’ His emotional intelligence is amazing,” she gushed.
Following her divorce from Cory Hardrict, Mowry focused on healing and rediscovering herself . She explained that she manifested this relationship by writing a list of what she wanted in a partner and visualizing the feeling of safety. “The feeling was my nervous system being safe,” she said. “And that’s exactly what he does”.
