Popular Nigerian comedian and actor, Ayo Makun aka AY, has weighed in on the rising trend of Nigerians relocating abroad in search of greener pastures.
In a viral post, AY pointed out how many Nigerians sell off their land and properties to relocate overseas, only to end up working multiple jobs just to survive and send money back home to buy land again.
His thought-provoking statement stirred massive reactions, with fans sharing different views on the realities of living abroad.
Some fans agreed with him, noting that the comfort, security, and better quality of life abroad makes the struggle worthwhile, especially for their children’s future. Others argued that not everyone who relocates ends up suffering, as many Nigerians abroad are living their dream lives.
