Popular music executive, Tunji Balogun, aka Teebillz, has tendered a heartfelt public apology to media personality Toke Makinwa over his harsh comments during the 2Face and Annie Idibia divorce saga.
Recall that in January 2025, Toke criticized 2Face Idibia after the singer publicly announced his separation from his wife, Annie Idibia. Teebillz, who is a close friend of the couple, lashed out at Toke, accusing her of making insensitive comments without understanding the depth of marriage and parenthood.
However, in a surprising turn of events, Teebillz took to his Instagram page today to apologize to Toke, admitting that he acted out of character due to his loyalty to Annie and 2Face.
In his post, he wrote:
“My sincere apologies TM. I jumped the gun and goofed… I honestly acted out of character because of the unconditional love I have for Annie & King 2. My action was based on expired knowledge and lack of understanding of the current occurrences. Hopefully, I get the chance to privately apologize to sort our differences. I hope you forgive my emotional incompetence.”
Teebillz further joked that he wouldn’t want his daughter Jamil to find out he disrespected one of her favorite aunties, hinting at the close bond between his daughter and Toke.
The public apology has sparked mixed reactions online, with many praising Teebillz for owning up to his mistakes while others criticized him for his initial outburst.
