Reality TV star Teddy A has issued a stern warning to men who send him romantic emojis or compliments that he finds uncomfortable.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Teddy A addressed the issue bluntly, emphasizing that men should stick to “bro code” when complimenting each other.
“Bro to bro, if you want to compliment a guy, there’s a way to do it. There’s bro code unless you’re into men. Don’t send me lovestruck emojis or messages about how beautiful I look. That thing is getting on my nerves, and it irritates me.”
He further advised that the only acceptable compliment from one man to another should be something like “my bro, looking sharp” or “looking extra sharp.” Anything beyond that, he insists, should be kept to oneself.
Teddy A also recounted a recent experience in Enugu, where a man made an uncomfortable remark to him in public. He stated that not every thought needs to be voiced out, urging men to be mindful of their words and gestures.
“If you see me in public, keep your compliments simple as a guy to a fellow guy.”
