Jane Doe was awarded nearly $4 million in a civil lawsuit that found the “Crank Dat” rapper liable for sexual battery, assault, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The lawsuit claimed their romantic relationship, which began while she worked as his personal assistant, quickly turned violent. She alleged Soulja Boy locked her in a room without food for days. The jury sided with her after hearing graphic testimony about the abuse she endured.
Soulja Boy has consistently denied all wrongdoing. His legal team argued the ex was motivated by money, not truth.
