Soulja Boy’s $4M Debt to Ex Is Growing $1K Per Day

Soulja Boy’s debt to his ex-girlfriend just got more expensive. His current $4.2 million judgment is piling up roughly $1,165 in interest every single day, according to legal documents. The longer he waits, the deeper the hole gets.

A jury awarded the woman nearly $4 million in April 2025 after finding Soulja Boy liable for sexual battery, assault, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. She worked as his personal assistant in 2018 before their relationship turned violent. The rapper has denied all wrongdoing and said he plans to appeal.

His ex is now moving to have his music residuals sold off to the highest bidder. She filed notice to sell his Broadcast Music royalty rights, meaning future earnings from his songs could go straight to her unless Soulja objects. The sale would redirect his income stream, not take away his catalog.

Soulja faces a tough choice: pay up soon or watch the interest compound. His legal team maintains the verdict wasn’t supported by evidence, but the clock is ticking. Each day adds another $1,165 to the bill. At this rate, ignoring the debt isn’t an option.
