The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Shooting Stars has raised alarm over the disappearance of two of its players, Victor Ehibe and Abubakar Adeyemi, who have been declared Absent Without Official Leave (AWOL).
Tosin Omojola, the club’s media officer, revealed the situation in an official statement on Thursday, expressing concern about their sudden and unexplained absence. Details regarding their last known whereabouts remain unclear, and efforts to reach the players have reportedly been unsuccessful.
The club has called on relevant authorities and stakeholders in Nigerian football to assist in locating the players as investigations continue.
