Shaboozey is riding into his next era with a very famous cowgirl by his side. The Grammy winner announced his new single, Cowgirl, alongside a teaser featuring Bravo’s Ciara Miller.
The short preview dropped on Shaboozey’s Instagram and X accounts on May 29. In the clip, the pair dances together in coordinated Western-inspired attire while the song’s chorus plays in the background.
The new single Cowgirl, arrives June 5 and serves as the latest taste of Shaboozey’s upcoming fourth album. The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales is scheduled for release on July 31, following his breakout 2024 project Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going.
The teaser caption reads: “They say behind every outlaw is a cowgirl twice as dangerous. ‘Cowgirl’ out 6/5.” Miller confirmed her involvement by reposting the announcement with the simple message: “I’m the cowgirl” .
That single spent 19 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 and more time at No. 1 on the Radio Songs chart than any song before it. He became the first performer to simultaneously reach the top 10 on Country Airplay, Pop Airplay, Adult Pop Airplay, and Rhythmic Airplay charts .
The Western aesthetic of the “Cowgirl” teaser fits the theme of his upcoming album. Miller, known for her role on Bravo’s Summer House, has recently garnered widespread support after castmate drama made headlines earlier this year .
Fans won’t have to wait long, the full music video drops alongside the single in just days.
