Since Wednesday, unflattering pictures of the beloved actor, famously known as Black Arrow, have been making rounds on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter). These misleading images prompted concerns among fans and the entertainment community.
However, in a media chat with ExpressDay Newspaper on Thursday, Arinze cleared the air, saying:
“I’m very fine. Please ignore whatever pictures you see on the internet suggesting that I’m sick.”
‘It’s the Work of Mischief Makers’
To further dismiss the claims, the actor sent a video to the media, reassuring his supporters of his well-being and attributing the rumors to mischief makers.
“I want to thank my fans, friends, and associates all over the world for reaching out to me through calls and WhatsApp messages to find out how I’m doing. As you can see, I’m very fine. Those pictures flying around were taken at a movie location. I don’t know why some people decided to cause mischief with them.”
Beware of Fraudulent Fundraisers
Arinze also took the opportunity to caution the public against falling victim to fraudulent schemes. He emphasized that no one should solicit funds on his behalf under the pretense of raising money for his medical treatment.
“Please do not give anyone money in my name for any treatment. I will continue to do my work, contribute to the growth of my industry, and serve Nigeria. God bless you all. I love you.”
