The “Nation’s Girl Group” is catching eyes far beyond the Philippines. Say Now, the rising British pop trio formerly known as needanamebro, has officially revealed that a collaboration with the P-pop powerhouse BINI is at the top of their wish list. The London-based group, consisting of members Ysabelle Salvanera, Amelia Onuorah, and Madeleine Haynes, shared their admiration for BINI’s “infectious energy” and “global impact” during a recent press run in the UK.
The interest in a global girl group collaboration 2026 highlights the rapidly shrinking borders of the pop music industry. Say Now, who have spent the last year gaining traction with hits like “Supermarket” and “Millions,” noted that they have been following BINI’s rise since their viral “Pantropiko” era. “We love how they bring their culture into their music while still making it sound so fresh and global,” member Ysabelle, who is of Filipino descent, stated in a recent interview. “A Say Now x BINI track would be the ultimate fusion of UK R&B-pop and P-pop magic.”
The shoutout comes at a high-stakes moment for BINI. The eight-member group is currently in the final stages of preparation for their historic Coachella 2026 debut on April 10 and 17. As the first-ever Filipino girl group to perform at the festival, BINI has become the primary target for international collaborations. They recently teased their own upcoming EP, Signals, and have already logged successful international crossovers, including their “Blink Twice” remix with Latin superstar Belinda.
The potential collaboration has already ignited a frenzy on social media, with “Blooms” and Say Now fans tagging both groups’ management teams (Star Magic and Modest! Management). While no official track has been confirmed, the mutual respect between the groups suggests that a studio session could be on the horizon as both acts prepare for their respective 2026 tours. Say Now is set to take the main stage at Mighty Hoopla 2026 in London this May, and fans are hopeful for a surprise appearance or a digital link-up before the summer season.
