Samuel L. Jackson and Eva Green are reuniting for a high-stakes heist thriller. The pair star as a scheming couple entangled in embezzlement, betrayal, and a $30 million insurance plot in the upcoming film Just Play Dead. The movie marks their second collaboration after 2016’s Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.
Directed by Martin Campbell (Casino Royale), the film features a tropical heist and a game of cat and mouse. Jackson and Green play a couple who make a bold move to recover $30 million in embezzled assets. However, the plot goes haywire when their plan attracts the attention of dangerous criminals and a tenacious insurance investigator.
The film also stars Mike Colter, Moon Bloodgood, and Harry Lennix. Producers include Brad Feinstein and Mike Callaghan, with executives from Romulus Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios. Just Play Dead is currently in post-production and is expected to hit theaters in spring 2027.
