Nigerian music sensation Ruger, known for his chart-topping tracks like “Bounce” and “Dear Ex,” has opened up about his evolving views on relationships and the challenges of balancing love and career.
In a candid interview with Naija FM, Ruger admitted that while he considers himself a “loverboy,” he has come to realize that relationships may not be a good fit for him.
“My first instinct when I see a girl is to think about getting serious …….But over time, I lose interest. I’ve come to understand that relationships just don’t work for me.”
On his interactions with female fans, Ruger revealed he keeps things strictly professional. “The most I give my female fans on stage is a flower,” he said. “We’re working together, and that’s as far as it goes for me.”
Reflecting on his career journey, Ruger acknowledged the significant role of divine blessings in his success. He expressed gratitude for being able to support his family and emphasized his determination to stay off the streets. “It wasn’t easy when I started, and it’s still not easy now. But God has been blessing my efforts,” he said, adding that he feels a strong sense of responsibility as he continues to plan for the future and support those who depend on him.
Through hard work and faith, Ruger continues to rise as one of Nigeria’s most promising artists.
