Multiple sources confirmed the split on Monday, revealing the longtime couple, who wed in June 1999 and share 15-year-old daughter Elektra, are no longer together romantically. The pair co-founded the Lunatic Fringe salon chain the same year they tied the knot.
Angie notably did not post on social media to mark their 27th wedding anniversary last month, though she had gushed about their 26th anniversary just a year earlier. The couple weathered significant public scrutiny during Season 4 of RHOSLC when rumors circulated about Trujillo’s fidelity, accusations that both Angie and Shawn firmly denied.
It remains unclear whether the separation will play out on Season 7, which wrapped production in late May. Earlier this year, eagle-eyed fans noticed Trujillo following several divorce-related Instagram accounts, but he insisted the activity had “nothing to do with Angie” and was related to helping a friend. Neither Katsanevas nor Trujillo has publicly commented on the separation report.
