Ray J is fed up, and he’s letting the world know. The Love & Hip Hop star recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to vent about feeling used for his fame, and he didn’t hold back.
“I’m so tired of being used for my fame, man,” he wrote. Then, in a bombshell statement that sent social media into a frenzy, he added, “Kim is nothing without me wtf I made that btch #fckingLAThotties.”
Fans immediately assumed he was referring to Kim Kardashian, his infamous ex and co-star in the 2007 leaked sex tape that catapulted her into the spotlight. However, Kim’s fans weren’t having it. They flooded the Hollywood Unlocked Instagram comments, shutting him down.
“He mad she richer than him, lol,” one user wrote, while another defended the reality mogul: “Man, Kim is a boss. She is so much more than a 15-year-old tape, stop that narrative.”
Ray J Claims He Started the Lil Kim & Nicki Minaj Feud
Ray J wasn’t done making headlines. In a recent VladTV interview, he made another shocking claim: he started the long-standing feud between Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj.
“I spoke out of turn at a Lil Kim concert,” he admitted. “I said some sht, it wasn’t cool. It created friction with them, and it shouldn’t have. I take full responsibility for that.”*
He was referring to a 2010 incident when he joined Lil Kim onstage and seemingly took shots at Nicki Minaj, saying:
“A lot of imposters. Trying to do what Kim do. And I’m a little bit irritated by that sht.”*
Ray J now believes the beef has gone too far and hopes for reconciliation. “I want her and Lil Kim to be straight. I think that it’s on the right path. Don’t know where they are now,” he said.
