Controversial street-pop sensation Portable, real name Habeeb Okikiola, is at it again—and this time, he’s set his sights on none other than Fuji music icon Saheed Osupa. The ongoing war of words between the two artists has ignited a heated debate across social media and the Nigerian entertainment scene.

“Big for Nothing?” – Portable’s Bold Jab
The drama kicked off when Portable, never one to hold back, publicly labeled Osupa as “big for nothing.” The swipe immediately stirred reactions online, with many speculating about the underlying cause of the sudden hostility. While the exact reason remains unclear, Portable’s shade suggested a deeper rivalry or personal beef between the pair.

Osupa Fires Back — and the Beef Boils Over
Fuji veteran Akorede Babatunde Okunola Saheed, popularly known as Saheed Osupa, didn’t let Portable’s insult slide. He responded with a stern video message, clearly expressing his displeasure with Portable’s disrespect. Instead of diffusing the situation, Osupa’s response only fanned the flames.
And in true Portable fashion, the self-proclaimed “Wahala Musician” clapped back immediately.

“He Has No Power Over Me” – Portable Doubles Down
Rejecting any talk of seniority, Portable boldly stated that he and Osupa are “on the same level”musically, arguing that Fuji and street-hop are two different kingdoms—and that they both reign in their respective lanes. He further warned that “nothing should happen” to him during this feud, indirectly accusing Osupa of having ulterior motives.
“He has no power over me,” Portable declared in a recent Instagram rant, setting social media ablaze once again.

Fans React: “Two Kings, One Battlefield?”
The back-and-forth has divided fans into two fiery camps:
• Team Osupa calls for respect and tradition, reminding Portable of the Fuji icon’s decades-long legacy.
• Team Portable defends his right to speak up and challenge the industry’s old guard, hailing him as the voice of the streets.
Others are simply enjoying the drama, with memes, parodies, and hot takes flooding TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram.
⸻
Will the Storm Settle?
This is far from Portable’s first rodeo with controversy. Known for his viral outbursts, unpredictable antics, and headline-grabbing feuds, he’s earned a reputation as Nigerian music’s most chaotic lightning rod.
But beefing with a respected elder like Osupa? That might be a different kind of smoke.
Whether this ends in reconciliation, retaliation, or another viral track, one thing’s for sure: the streets—and the fans—are watching closely.
