Nigerian street-hop sensation Portable has once again found himself trending—this time over a mysterious tweet that sent fans into a frenzy. The post, which read, “Police arrested Portable keeee?”, quickly gained traction across social media platforms, igniting a storm of speculation.
The tweet, accompanied by a now-viral video, left fans scratching their heads: Was the self-styled “Wahala Musician” actually arrested, or was this another classic Portable stunt?
Known for his raw energy, controversial outbursts, and a constant presence in the headlines, Portablerose to fame with his 2021 breakout hit “Zazoo Zehh.” Since then, his career has been a whirlwind of legal drama, online feuds, and unfiltered social media antics.
As the tweet spread, fans expressed shock, amusement, and confusion—some demanding clarity, others laughing it off as just another episode in the never-ending drama that follows the singer. With no official confirmation from the Nigerian Police or Portable’s camp, many are questioning the authenticity of the claim.
Some observers suspect it might be a publicity stunt, a move not entirely out of character for the “Ika of Africa,” who often leverages controversy to maintain visibility in the media space.
Whether it’s fact or fiction, one thing remains clear: Portable knows how to keep his name in circulation, and the streets are watching.
