The potential Olamide and Fola collaboration represents a passing of the torch moment. Olamide has spent over a decade shaping the sound of Lagos street music, while Fola emerged as 2025’s biggest breakout star. His debut album Catharsis surpassed 100 million Spotify streams, and his collaboration with Shoday, “Paparazzi,” became the first new No. 1 song of 2026 in Nigeria.
Neither artist has officially confirmed the track’s release date. However, insiders suggest the song is already recorded and awaiting rollout.
