Nigerian rap is having a major moment, and Odumodublvck is leading the charge! His deluxe mixtape, “Eziokwu (Uncut),” has officially surpassed 250 million streams on Spotify, making it the most-streamed Nigerian rap project ever.
Breaking Olamide’s Record
This milestone knocks Olamide’s “Carpe Diem” (which held the top spot with 235 million streams) off its throne. Now, Odumodublvck stands alone as the first Nigerian rapper to hit this massive streaming number.
Released on October 6, 2023, Eziokwu (Uncut) is packed with star-studded collaborations, featuring artists like Amaarae, Blaqbonez, Wale, Fireboy DML, Bella Shmurda, PsychoYP, Zlatan, Cruel Santino, and more. The project’s success proves that Nigerian rap isn’t just thriving—it’s dominating.
A New Era for Nigerian Rap
With multiple Headies Award nominations and a growing international fanbase, Odumodublvck’s influence is undeniable. His record-breaking success signals a rising demand for Nigerian hip-hop, proving that the genre is no longer playing second fiddle to Afrobeats.
As Eziokwu (Uncut) continues to rack up streams, one thing is clear: Odumodublvck isn’t just making hits—he’s making history.
