The live-action One Piece is setting sail for an even bigger adventure in Season 2, and the latest casting news confirms that Luffy’s father, Monkey D. Dragon, will finally make his debut.
Netflix’s hit adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s legendary manga is expanding its ensemble with new heroes, villains, and fan-favorite characters as production moves forward.
Who’s Joining the Cast?
• Monkey D. Dragon, Luffy’s mysterious and powerful father, will be played by Rigo Sanchez (Outer Banks, Station 19).
• Igaram, the loyal protector of Princess Vivi, will be portrayed by Yonda Thomas.
