Ne-Yo is the latest celebrity facing legal action over an alleged dog attack. A woman named Dominique Bridgett is suing the singer after she claims his dog violently attacked her while she was dropping off a package at his Georgia home in July 2025.
According to the lawsuit, Bridgett says she was lawfully making a delivery to Ne-Yo’s residence when a dog on the property attacked her. She claims she sustained “severe bodily injury, pain, shock, and distress” as a result of the incident and has already spent $9,039.50 on medical treatment. She is now seeking reimbursement for those expenses plus additional damages.
The lawsuit echoes a similar high-profile case involving Ne-Yo’s contemporary, Chris Brown. Brown was recently ordered to pay nearly $13 million to his former housekeeper after a jury found him liable in a separate dog attack case. Brown is currently seeking a new trial, according to reports.
As of publication, the allegations remain unproven and Ne-Yo has not publicly responded to the lawsuit .
