Nigerian singer Naira Marley has broken his silence after a Lagos Magistrate Court in Yaba officially cleared him, Sam Larry, and Prime Boy of any involvement in the death of late singer Mohbad.
The court ruling on February 25, 2025, dismissed all allegations against the trio, putting an end to months of speculation and legal battles.
In a new development, the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) announced that charges would instead be filed against the auxiliary nurse who treated Mohbad, Feyisayo Ogedengbe, as well as Mohbad’s friend, Ayobami Sodiq.
Following the ruling, Naira Marley took to Twitter to share a Quranic verse, expressing his faith and gratitude:
“And whoever puts all his trust in Allah, He will be enough for him. (65:3).”
His post has since sparked mixed reactions online, with some supporters celebrating his vindication, while others continue to demand justice for Mohbad.
