Monopoly GO Apologizes With Free Tokens for Marvel Album Glitch

Monopoly GO players are receiving free compensation tokens to address recent technical issues that disrupted their gaming experience during the Marvel GO album season. Specifically, the issues affected Spider Gwen and Nick Fury tokens, leaving many players unable to claim these rewards from September 26 to December 5.

To make amends, Monopoly GO developers are delivering missing Marvel tokens directly to player inboxes. Players who already own all Marvel tokens will instead receive dice rolls as a one-time compensation.

The Marvel GO album featured superhero-themed sticker sets, offering rewards like cash, dice rolls, emojis, and shields. Players could earn tokens through events like the Asgardian Treasure Hunt, Quick Wins tasks, and community chests. However, technical glitches prevented some from receiving their hard-earned rewards.

The compensation coincides with the launch of the Jingle Joy album, which runs until January 16. This new festive album introduces fresh sticker sets, tokens, and rewards, including 10,000 rolls, a Santa token, and cash for completing the collection. Players can also participate in the Team Adventures event for additional rewards.

Players affected by the glitch are encouraged to log in promptly to claim their tokens or dice rolls and dive into the new album’s holiday festivities.
