The first Monday in May is the most anticipated night in fashion, drawing the biggest names in Hollywood, fashion, and music to the Met Gala—the industry’s most exclusive event. Handpicked by legendary Vogue editor Anna Wintour, each guest is carefully curated to match the event’s prestige.
This year’s exhibition, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” will celebrate the Black dandy and the role of clothing in shaping Black identity within the Atlantic diaspora. Notably, this is the first time since 2003 that the exhibit will focus exclusively on menswear.
