Megan Thee Stallion is getting some unexpected studio visitors during the making of her upcoming album, ACT III. The rapper revealed on social media that a stray orange cat she has named Miso has been making regular appearances during her recording sessions.
The orange feline’s visits feel like more than a coincidence. Megan hinted at the orange theme of ACT III, noting that Miso’s color perfectly aligns with the album’s aesthetic. She called the cat’s appearances “a sign of good luck,” adding a touch of warmth to the creative process. In a video, she shared a glimpse of Miso calmly sitting among her belongings, with the playful caption: “ACT III orange theme a sign… and this orange cat just showed up saying hello”.
Megan first announced ACT III in August 2024, describing the album as a bridge between her current sound and her earlier alter egos, including Tina Snow. The project serves as the final chapter of her trilogy, following Act I (2020) and Act II (2022). In August 2026, she signed a new distribution deal with Interscope Records while retaining full ownership of her masters and publishing, signaling a new era of creative independence.
The album is expected to showcase a more mature and confident Megan Thee Stallion, with the stray cat serving as an endearing symbol of the good vibes surrounding this chapter of her career.
