Little Mix star teases solo comeback after parting ways with Warner Records

Leigh-Anne Pinnock made a stylish appearance at Burna Boy’s exclusive Priority gig on Wednesday night (July 16), joining a host of A-list guests to celebrate the Afrobeats superstar’s brand-new album, No Sign of Weakness.

Held at the O2 Forum Kentish Town, the invite-only event hosted just 2,000 lucky fans — a far cry from Burna’s usual arena-sized crowd. The night was electric as the Grammy-winning hitmaker performed new tracks alongside iconic hits from his decade-long career.

“Big thanks to O2 for bringing us together in London to celebrate the new album,” Burna told fans. “It’s an honour to share No Sign of Weakness with the world and feel this kind of energy from my people.”

VIPs in the Building: Leigh-Anne, Leomie, Nathalie

The Little Mix singer, fresh off news of her label departure, was spotted posing with British supermodel Leomie Anderson, radiating star power on the sidelines. Also in the crowd was Game of Thrones actress Nathalie Emmanuel, keeping things cool and low-key as she soaked in the vibe.

The show comes just days after Burna’s Wireless Festival set in Finsbury Park, where he shared the stage with global giants like Drake and Vybz Kartel. But this smaller gig hit different — a rare, up-close moment with the Afrobeats icon as part of the O2 Priority concert series. Past headliners include Kylie Minogue, RAYE, and Girls Aloud.

Leigh-Anne’s Next Era: “It’s a Leigh-Anne Summer”

Leigh-Anne’s red carpet moment follows a major move in her music career. The singer confirmed her split from Warner Records, the label she joined after Little Mix went on hiatus in 2022. After dropping her debut solo EP No Hard Feelings in 2023, she reportedly faced challenges — including the label’s alleged refusal to fund a video for her recent project.

But Leigh-Anne’s not slowing down. A cryptic teaser posted in May showed her hand next to a record player featuring the Virgin Music Group logo — a sign she’s teaming up with the indie powerhouse to relaunch her solo journey.

Speaking on her Discord channel, she told fans:

“The process of changing over has been… yeah, it’s taken time. But we’re here. Need you guys to stay with me — it is coming.”

And with one confident tweet back to Virgin Music, she sealed the deal:

“Let’s do this.”

Ready or Not, Here Comes the Independent Leigh-Anne

The singer is now gearing up for what she promises will be a “Leigh-Anne summer” — bold, independent, and backed by a loyal fanbase ready for her next chapter. Whether it’s red carpet cameos at Burna Boy gigs or fresh music dropping soon, one thing is clear: Leigh-Anne Pinnock is outside and owning it.
