Kendrick Lamar has seen a massive surge in streaming numbers following his electrifying Super Bowl Halftime Show performance at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
According to reports, Lamar’s Drake diss track “Not Like Us” saw an astonishing 430% increase in streams on Spotify, making it the biggest post-Super Bowl streaming jump. His overall catalog also experienced a 175% rise, with other tracks like “HUMBLE.” and “All the Stars” seeing 300% and 290% increases, respectively.
During his 13-minute set, Kendrick performed a censored version of “Not Like Us”, notably omitting the lyric that labeled Drake a “certified pedophile”—an allegation that Drake has denied. He also threw shade at his rap rival’s lawsuit against Universal Music Group, teasing the crowd with:
“I want to perform their favorite song, but you know they love to sue.”
Adding to the night’s excitement, SZA joined Lamar on stage, causing her own streams to spike by 80%. The duo performed “All the Stars” from Black Panther and “Luther” from Lamar’s latest album GNX.
