Kelley Wolf is choosing peace and positivity following her dramatic split from Party of Five star Scott Wolf after more than 20 years of marriage.
The 48-year-old former Real World star took to Instagram to share a heartfelt and empowering message with her followers just weeks after the couple’s separation made headlines. Her post radiated strength as she declared:
“Love makes the world go round … And in the times you feel heavy … KNOW … you are special. Peace is a state of mind … I am HAPPY. And that’s okay … it’s okay to hold many things at once … We are dynamic … and I am ready to begin again.”
The couple, who tied the knot in 2004, share three children: Jackson (16), Miller (12), and Lucy (11). Last month, Scott Wolf, 57, was granted temporary sole legal and physical custody of the children. He also received a restraining order against Kelley, barring her from contact with both him and the children, and giving him sole access to their Utah home.
Court documents alleged that Kelley attempted to take the children out of the country and displayed concerning behavior that led to an involuntary psychiatric hold, commonly referred to as a 5150. According to Us Weekly, this was issued due to her being considered a potential danger to herself or others.
However, Kelley later posted an update that painted a different picture:
“I’m fine, y’all. I’m happy. No mental illness. No addictions. Just a woman who SURVIVED an involuntary 5150 and went on a 1st DATE 2-night. So nervous! OMG!”
Despite the emotional rollercoaster, Kelley seems determined to embrace her next chapter with grace. A court hearing set for July 9 will determine whether she will be allowed supervised visitation and address other ongoing custody and financial issues.
The split has shocked fans of the long-time couple, especially after two decades of marriage in the spotlight. But through it all, Kelley is showing resilience—and letting the world know she’s ready to start anew.
