KATSEYE Sells Out First Arena Tour in Record Time

The global girl group just proved their meteoric rise is no fluke. KATSEYE has officially sold out their first arena tour, moving every single ticket for 27 shows across 10 countries in under 48 hours. The demand was so overwhelming that four additional dates were added, and those sold out too.

The WILDWORLD TOUR was announced in mid-May as a 27-city run spanning Europe and North America. Tickets went on sale and practically evaporated. London, Belmont Park, Los Angeles, and Mexico City each received an extra show. That brought the total to 31 sold-out arena performances.

The tour kicks off September 1 in Dublin, Ireland, before tearing through London, Manchester, Paris, Amsterdam, Cologne, Antwerp, and Copenhagen. The North American leg starts October 13 in Miami, hitting Atlanta, Washington D.C., Boston, Detroit, Chicago, Austin, Las Vegas, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Mexico City before wrapping November 28.

Selling out arenas is rare for any artist. For a group on their first arena tour, it is almost unheard of. But KATSEYE has been stacking wins all year. The six-member group, Sophia, Manon, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae, cleaned up at the American Music Awards, taking home New Artist of the Year, Breakthrough Pop Artist, and Best Music Video for “Gnarly.”

Their second EP Beautiful Chaos peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and has stayed on the chart for nearly 30 consecutive weeks. Single “Gabriela” climbed to No. 21 on the Hot 100. Physical album sales hit 186,000 copies in the U.S. alone last year, making KATSEYE the only girl group in the Top 10 CD sales chart.

Their first arena tour being completely sold out sends a clear message to the industry. The HYBE x Geffen experiment is working. The “multi-home, multi-genre” strategy, building a globally focused group outside traditional K-pop structures, has produced a genuine arena-level act in under two years.

The group has also been nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards. A win there would solidify them as one of the biggest breakout stories in modern pop. But for now, the focus is on the road. Thirty-one arenas. Thirty-one sold-out crowds. And a whole lot of fans who already grabbed their tickets before they vanished.
