Katie Boulter Serves Style Goals at Wimbledon: “It’s Not Just Tennis, It’s Tradition”

British tennis star Katie Boulter isn’t just smashing forehands—she’s serving fashion inspiration too.

The 28-year-old fan favourite has opened up about her deep love for the “style and tradition” that makes Wimbledon so iconic—not just for its tennis, but also for the sense of personal expression it allows players on court.

In a stylish sit-down with The Sunday Times’ Style magazine, Katie gushed over Serena Williams’ legendary white train moment and confessed her dream Wimbledon outfit is a sleek, understated white blazer.

“I live for the Serena Williams long white train moment! That was epic in every way… I’ve always wanted to walk out on Centre Court in a blazer, ever since I saw Roger [Federer] do it when I was a kid,” she shared. “Now oversized jackets are really in, I would love to rock up on court wearing an understated white blazer — that would be a moment.”

Off the court, Katie reveals a completely different style persona. While she’s all business in match gear during games, the Leicester-born athlete embraces a more glam and casual side when she’s not competing.

“I have two sides to me: tennis Katie who loves to wear match clothes to get into game mode. Then there’s this whole other side who is very into fashion — whether it’s classic jeans and a nice top or a dress for date nights.”

Her love for beauty also shines through in her day-to-day routine. Forget mascara during high-stakes matches—Katie swears by lash lifts and Japanese skincare.

“I don’t want to wear mascara when I’m playing sports because I’m worried it’ll streak everywhere,” she said. “But since I discovered Shiseido Anessa suncare in Japan last year, it’s the first thing I put on every day. It makes you look glowy but not too shiny.”

As Katie continues to climb the ranks of British tennis, one thing is clear—she’s doing it with both power and poise, proving that Wimbledon style is just as fierce as the tennis on Centre Court.
