Kanye West is back in the headlines after taking another brutal shot at Taylor Swift during the Super Bowl—only to delete his X (formerly Twitter) account shortly after.
Kanye vs. Taylor: The Feud Continues
As Swift attended the Super Bowl to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, Kanye took aim at her with a now-deleted post. The rapper ranted:
“IF ITS ABOUT THE CULTURE … WHY ARE WE LETTING TAYLOR SWIFT BE SEEN ON TV SINGING A SONG ABOUT TAKING A BLACK MAN DOWN AND ACCUSING OF THINGS THAT CAN TAKE A BLACK MAN DOWN FOR LIFE.â€
His outburst followed weeks of odd behavior toward Swift, including suddenly following her on Instagram and referencing one of her songs in a post about his wife, Bianca Censori.
Kanye Drags Kendrick Lamar, Elon Musk & More
West also took a swipe at Kendrick Lamar, who performed at the Super Bowl halftime show, claiming the rapper was being manipulated:
“KENDRICK IS BEING USED BY THESE WHITE PEOPLE AND JEWS AND SO AM I.â€
Shortly afterward, Elon Musk unfollowed him, and Kanye deleted his entire X account. Before logging out, he left one last message:
“I’m logging out of Twitter. I appreciate Elon for allowing me to vent. It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board. It was like an Ayahuasca trip. Love all of you who gave me your energy and attention. To we connect again. Good afternoon and good night.â€
West Doubles Down on Antisemitic Rhetoric
Kanye’s latest meltdown also included another antisemitic rant, where he boasted about trying to “normalize†conversations about Hitler:
“I’m going to normalize talking about Hitler the way talking about killing n**s has been normalized.â€
He even called himself “Yaydolf Yitler†and dared critics to cancel him:
“IM NEVER APOLOGIZING FOR MY JEWISH COMMENTS. I CAN SAY WHATEVER THE F** I WANNA SAY FOREVER.â€*
Hollywood Calls for Kanye’s Permanent Ban
West’s disturbing comments have reignited calls for social media platforms to ban him permanently. Friends actor David Schwimmer slammed Elon Musk, urging him to take action:
“Kanye West has 32.7 million followers on your platform, X. That’s twice as many people than the number of Jews in existence. His sick hate speech results in REAL LIFE violence against Jews.â€
While Kanye has deleted his account, fans and critics alike are waiting to see where he resurfaces next—and whether Musk will allow him back on X yet again.
