Kanye West and his former personal assistant Lauren Pisciotta have reached a settlement in her sexual harassment and assault lawsuit against him. The pair settled the case on July 23, according to court documents submitted to a Los Angeles court, with the filing stating the settlement is “unconditional” and a request for dismissal will be filed within 45 days. The details of the settlement remain confidential.
Pisciotta first sued the rapper in 2024, alleging sexual harassment, breach of contract, and wrongful termination. She claimed West sent her numerous explicit text messages and videos, including one message that read, “See my problem is I be wanting to f*** but then after I f*** I want a girl to tell me how hard they been fed while I’m fing them. Then I want her to cheat on me”.
In an amended complaint, she added further allegations, including that West masturbated and touched her vagina during a hotel stay, and that he drugged her at a studio session co-hosted by Diddy. The rapper’s representatives have consistently denied the allegations, previously calling them “baseless” and “fantasy fiction”.
The legal proceedings are now closed. The court filing confirms the “unconditional” settlement, meaning both parties have agreed to terms without admitting liability. The case will be formally dismissed by September 2026. Pisciotta’s attorney had previously stated that his client wished to keep any settlement discussions private.
