Kanye West is back in the headlines with a surprise music drop — the controversial rapper has announced he will release 10 new songs before the end of the week, sparking fresh buzz and concern across the industry.
The announcement was made through the fan-run Yefanatics page, where Ye reportedly stated:
“Releasing 5 of the songs 2nt. Will release another 5 2mrw. And then more the next day. Still working on the album. Share this message.”
Though he confirmed the rollout plan, Ye added that the full album is still in progress, leaving fans speculating on what direction the project is taking — especially given his recent history.
This comes just weeks after Ye faced severe backlash for releasing songs like “Heil Hitler” and “WW3,” both of which were widely condemned for their blatant antisemitism. “Heil Hitler,” released on May 8, included shocking lines like “All my n—as Nazis” and closed with a sample of a Hitler speech. The track was swiftly removed by platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
“WW3” didn’t hold back either, with Ye rapping about reading Mein Kampf and wearing Nazi symbols. Following intense criticism, Ye claimed to have turned a corner, stating he was “done with antisemitism” — allegedly influenced by a FaceTime call with his children.
Still, skepticism remains high. With no official word from his label or major DSPs, it’s unclear whether these new songs will receive widespread distribution — or provoke further bans. There are also rumors swirling that rising rapper Dave Blunts might be co-writing the new material, though that remains unconfirmed.
