Rising UK star Junior Andre is dreaming big — and he’s got two major names at the top of his future collab wish list: Jorja Smith and Joyner Lucas.
“They’re Sick” — Junior Talks Musical Aspirations
The 20-year-old singer, son of Peter Andre and Katie Price, opened up about his musical goals during an exclusive chat with Lulu Eagle for BANG Showbiz at the M.A.T.E (Men and Their Emotions) charity launch in London.
“I’m honestly so open, there are so many artists I would love to collab with,” Junior said.
“Maybe Jorja Smith on a little vibe – she’s got a great voice. Joyner Lucas… he’s sick.”
The young artist, who signed a major deal with Columbia Records at just 16 — the same label behind Harry Styles and Calvin Harris — is clearly setting his sights high.
A Creative Process Driven by Vibes
When it comes to making music, Junior says it all depends on his mood.
“I pretty much make music every day, and it depends on the vibe I’m feeling,” he said.
“Sometimes I’ll tap into mental health stuff, sometimes I’m happy and I’ll tap into summer stuff. It all depends.”
Big Screen Moves and Big Values
Junior isn’t stopping at music. He’s set to appear alongside his dad in the upcoming musical Finding My Voice, showing off his acting chops.
But beyond career milestones, the “Only One” singer is most passionate about staying grounded.
“Always remain humble, remember where you come from, be nice to people,” he shared.
“Kindness goes a long way. Don’t be mean. Treat people with respect. We’re all the same — love people, be kind, be real.”
Championing Men’s Mental Health
Junior is also using his platform to speak up about a cause close to his heart — mental health, especially for young men.
“Your mental health is everything. In fact, it’s more important than your physical health,” he said.
“If your mental health is in the right place, it can help your physical health.
Being a man is being able to be open, speaking about your emotions. People don’t realise it, but once you talk, you instantly feel relieved.”
He added:
“If you don’t, and you bottle it in — it’s only gonna go one way.”
About M.A.T.E – Men and Their Emotions
The event where Junior shared his thoughts marked the launch of M.A.T.E, a new UK-based charity focused on men’s emotional well-being. Founded by comedian and rapper Daniel O’Reilly (aka Dapper Laughs), the organisation aims to break down the stigma surrounding male vulnerability, encourage open conversations, and provide a support network for men dealing with emotional and mental health challenges.
