Joe Jonas is shedding light on life after love — and how he and Sophie Turner are putting their children first.
The 35-year-old singer and his ex-wife, Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner, are co-parenting their two daughters — Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2 — following their highly publicized split in 2023. And according to Joe, things are in a good place.
Speaking on the School of Greatness podcast, Joe said:
“I have a great co-parenting relationship, which is really important to me.”
He described being a dad as “the greatest joy and journey,” and gave Sophie credit for being a strong role model:
“My little ones have some incredible women to look up to, including their mom.”
When the pair first split in September 2023, things got complicated fast. While Joe initially sought shared custody, Sophie later accused him of wrongfully keeping the kids in New York instead of returning them to their “habitual residence” in England.
Fortunately, tensions eased. By the following month, they reached a custody agreement and released a joint statement:
“After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the US and the UK. We look forward to being great co-parents.”
Since then, Joe has publicly praised Sophie on multiple occasions, including during a chat with Jay Shetty in May:
“Having an incredible mom, Sophie, for those girls is like a dream come true… I want them to be open-minded, to have a big heart, and to know they can do literally anything they want.”
While their romantic chapter may be over, Joe and Sophie seem committed to writing a new one — built on mutual respect, shared parenting, and love for their daughters.
